Luis Ernesto Beltran (Rosca) is a versatile saxophonist and flute player, a two time Grammy nominated for his albums with for “Tiempo Libre.”, “Back in Habana” and “What you’ve been waiting for.” Luis was born in Cuba, and at the age of 11 years old, he began his journey as a music student at EVA Raul Sanchez in Pinar del Rio. Four years later, he moved up to study in the ENA NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS in Havana, specializing in saxophone. By the age of 24, he moved to Europe. In Italy, he obtsinrf the opportunity to work in big festivals as Umbria Jazz, JVC, and Few Word Music Festival. Eight years later, he moved to Miami, where he had the privilege of playing at Playboy Jazz Festival and L.A. Chicago Jazz. Luis has worked with many well-known Latin Americans artists and world-class musicians, such as Sir James Galway, Joshua Bell, Paquito de Rivera, Giovani Hidalgo, Tropicana All Stars, Tito Nieves, Alfredo de la Fe, Luis Enrique, Victor Manuel, Sergio Vargas, Isaac Delgado, Alejandro Sanz, Juan Luis Guerra, Mambo Madness, Palo, and many others.
